Exploration, Encounter, and Exchange
Alzheimer's Disease is currently an incurable disease. However, as time progresses new ideas and techniques are being discovered to diagnose the disease in patients. This results in patients being diagnosed earlier on in the progression of the disease and gives the doctors an ability to study their brains. As more and more research is done on what causes Alzheimer's, doctors get a better understanding for what causes the disease. This is the exploration aspect of Alzheimer's disease, new research and exploration into cures and treatments for the disease. Doctors also need to communicate with one another and present their findings in an effort to pool their ideas together. By doing this, doctors mutually all gain more knowledge on the disease and can continue their research efforts in a more efficient way due to the surplus of new information being found. This is the encounter aspect of Alzheimer's Disease, that is, doctors must encounter one another to share their research together and achieve a greater overall understanding of the disease. This also can show to exchange aspect of Alzheimer's Disease. Doctors exchange their research findings and techniques with one another.

Close To The Cure
Alzheimer's research is at an all time high and more and more is being discovered about the disease. But all this research costs a lot of money to conduct, so doctors and researchers rely on many different sources to fund it. Many different organizations have been, and are being, created to fund Alzheimer's research. Theses organizations sponsor a variety of fund raising events, such as walks and runs, in an effort to raise money to donate for Alzheimer's research. Many organizations also encourage people to donate directly to the research of the disease and doing so is very easy. As a result of these popular organizations leading the fund raising for research, doctors have a surplus of capital available to spend on their research.
